Laurie Meyer, PTA
Originally from Mt. Prospect, IL Laurie moved to Algonquin in 1993. She started a personal training business designing exercise programs in the client home and contracting through local health clubs. Laurie began working in Physical Therapy in 2000 as a technician, while going to school for her Associates degree. She graduated from Elgin Community College in 2002 with a degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and has been working as a PTA since then. These days she enjoys yoga, meditation, weight lifting, running, and dog-sledding with her growing Siberian Husky team. During her free time she volunteers with Free Spirit Siberian Rescue.
